BBT-A vs BBT-B

BBT-A traded 166K shares today (Nov 10) and went down .22. BBT-B traded 1/3 of that and went up .12. That in spite of the fact that BBT-A is closer to its Xdiv and is yielding .75% lower. Does anyone have any idea what causes that kind of anomaly?

Hello CJ-
There is no way to know for sure.

One possible explanation is that a large investor traded in their shares of BBT-A for shares of BBT-B (and/or something else), causing the volume of -A to spike up and its price to spike down.

But I did not see anything specific in the news yesterday that would cause this event. Probably just an investor adjusting their portfolio.

Many Happy Returns.
